Description

Tabitha House is a recovery home for chemically dependent women in recovery. The program can accommodate 16 women, each in a private room. Services include case management and individual and group counseling. Clients may remain in the program for up to 120 days. There is a focus on helping clients secure permanent housing and stable employment.

Eligibility

-For women who are leaving residential treatment programs or have recently released from jail.
-The program fee is $60 per month.
-Clients must attend at least three 12 step meetings each week.
-Clients must follow house rules, including a 9:00pm curfew, 6:00am wake up time, attendance at 3 weekly house meetings, and participation in household chores and cooking.

How to Apply

Call 773-456-4874 Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm for intake. It is strongly preferred that you have your case manager call on your behalf prior to your release. If a bed is available, you will be scheduled for an intake appointment. If the program is at capacity, you will be added to a wait list.

You must bring the following documentation to your appointment:

-Referral letter
-List of current medications
-Medical history
-Proof of tuberculosis (TB) vaccination
