Description
HRDI offers methadone maintenance for adults with opioid use disorder. Methadone helps to manage withdrawal symptoms and control drug cravings. It may be taken long term. Naltrexone blocks the effects of opioids and narcotics, but may worsen withdrawal symptoms. Vivitrol (naltrexone), a monthly injection to help those who have undergone detox reduce the chance of relapse, is available through HRDI's intensive outpatient program.

Eligibility
-Accepts the following Medicaid and Medicaid managed care plans: Blue Cross Community, CountyCare, Harmony, IlliniCare, Meridian, Molina, and Next Level.
-Sliding scale fees starting at $20 per month are available for uninsured clients.
-Clients with private insurance may receive treatment at the 51st Street location for a flat fee of approximately $40 per week.
-No one will be refused services due to inability to pay.

How to Apply
Walk in to the Southwest Central location for an intake assessment. Intakes are completed Monday through Saturday between 9:00am and 2:00pm. Please arrive as early as possible, but no later than 1:00pm. You must bring the following:
-Photo ID
-Social Security card
-Insurance card, if applicable
-Any medications you are taking
Fees and insurance benefits will be discussed during the intake process. There is not generally a wait list for services.
