Intact Family Services serves families with children that have been identified by DCFS as at-risk for foster care placement. The program provides comprehensive casework, and supportive services including but not limited to counseling, parent education in order to allow children to remain safely in their homes. Services take place in the home, and include a 9-week parenting class, offered in English and Spanish. The program connects families to other services and parental coaching as needed. The standard time frame for all DCFS-referred cases is 5 to 6 months.
