Description
The City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services employs domestic violence advocates who work with homeless women at five DFSS Community Services Centers. In addition, DFSS funds agencies that provide a range of supports to domestic violence survivors, including emergency housing, legal assistance, court advocates, and child visitation centers. Social workers help individuals access the support services needed, tending to both their immediate safety and long-term well-being.

Eligibility
-Domestic Violence Advocates are available during regular Community Service Center business hours with the following exceptions:
- Trina Davila and North Area : M-Th 9:00am-5:00pm
- South Chicago: M-F 9:00am-3:00pm
- Adults accepted

Domestic Violence Advocates are on site at the following DFSS Centers: Garfield, King, North Area, South Chicago, and Trina Davila. Please contact your preferred location directly for more information or to schedule an appointment. Walk ins are accepted during business hours.
