Description
Chicago Survivors helps individuals and families who have lost a loved one to homicide. They provide supportive counseling, assistance with funeral arrangements, assistance with victims compensation applications, detectives meetings, and referrals to families in need. Other services include:
- Immediate Crisis Response Services
- Comprehensive referral services
- Court advocacy
- Law enforecement liason services
- Organization of memorial vigils and other memorial events
- Workshops
- Social events with other survivors

Payment
How to Apply
Call the intake line at 312-488-9222 Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm to schedule an appointment for services. Individuals and families may also call the hotline, 24/7 at 855-866-6679 for immediate assistance or for immediate crisis intervention. When calling the hotline or intake line, please provide:
- Victim information
- Homicide date and location
- Family contact information
