Description
ACES is a school-based program for at-risk youth identified by teachers, school counselors and parents. Goals include improving school behavior, social skills, social/emotional problems, cognitive functioning and parental involvement.

-For students enrolled in the following Chicago schools: Bennett, Emmett Till, and George Pullman.
-Students should be at least 6 yrs old.

How to Apply
Referrals are accepted from teachers, school staff and parents.. Call the intake line at 773-371-3642 to begin intake process. If no one is available, leave a voicemail with your name and telephone number. Calls are generally returned within 48 hours.
An intake form will be provided by the staff counselor, who will also do a mental health assessment upon meeting the child. She will then begin counseling twice a month for three months.
Counseling is provided at the schools during the school year and in the office or at home during the summer.
