Description
Catholic Charities Youth and Family Therapeutic Services division hires Masters-level, licensed counselors to provide professional counseling services for children, youth and families experiencing a wide range of social, emotional, behavioral, educational, mental health, or family problems.
Counselors have expertise in providing counseling for children, youth, and families involved in the child welfare system, youth victims of sexual abuse and trauma, and youth with sexually problematic behaviors.

Eligibility
-Counseling services are sliding scale based on household income. with fees starting at $5 per session (lower end). However, no one in need will be turned away due to inability to pay.
-Adults can only receive family counseling services; individual counseling is exclusively for children and adolescents.

How to Apply
Call 312- 655-7191 to schedule an initial assessment. Treatment plans and fees will be discussed at the intake appointment.
Services are provided by counseling interns from August or September through May or July, in alignment with the school schedule. Professional staff also take counseling clients. Wait lists may apply; wait time is shorter in fall, so potential clients should call early in the cycle to request services.
