How to Apply

Search for an offender by name or case ID number to find their current status. If the offender is in custody and/or has a case pending, you can register to receive notifications of custody status changes and upcoming court dates. A mobile app is available. You can also call 877-846-3445 (VINE 4IL) for Cook County offender status information.

VINE does not receive information regarding federal inmates. However, the Bureau of Prisons has an online Inmate Locator that provides information on any federal inmate.
