Description
This program offers restorative practices training in the communities of Washington Heights and Roseland to familiarize and instill restorative justice focused principles in young people and to teach leadership skills through violence prevention activities that engage their peers and neighbors. Its goal is for 100% of participating youth to increase knowledge of restorative justice practices and engage their peers and community in violence prevention events. Examples of activities include the following, but not limited to:
- Peace Walk
- Peer Jury
- Peace Circles
- Peace Pledges
