Description
Under the Rainbow evaluates and treats most children and adolescents for mental and behavioral health disorders. There are specialized programs for youth who have experienced abuse, neglect, and other traumas. Services include individual, family, and group therapies, social skills groups, case management, and psychiatry. Specialized crisis intervention services, including mobile emergency screening, assessment, and supportive services (SASS), are available 24/7 for youth in crisis.
These community services are comprehensive and evidence-based. Youth services include:

- Parenting groups

Eligibility
-Sinai accepts a variety of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and Marketplace insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CountyCare, Harmony, Humana, IlliniCare, Meridian, and NextLevel. For questions about accepted insurance plans, call 773-257-6345.
-Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Proof of income is required to apply.

How to Apply
Due to high demand, appointments are being scheduled for intake only through June 2018. The wait list for services is typically 3-4 months, but may be longer.
You are strongly encouraged to contact your insurance provider to verify your mental health benefits prior to scheduling an appointment. Call 773-257-4750 to speak with the intake department. You will be given a brief eligibility screening and then scheduled for an intake appointment. Please bring the following documentation:
-Referral from primary care provider
-Insurance card
Clinicians do not begin psychiatry or medication management immediately. They have their own process to determine what treatment is appropriate.
