Description
Resilience, formerly Rape Victim Advocates (RVA), offers legal advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse. Services include:
-Information about your legal rights
-Assistance with filing a petition for a protective order and/or Crime Victims Compensation claim
-Accompaniment to police stations to file a police report or meet with law enforcement
-Liaison with law enforcement and the state's attorney's office
-Referral to legal representation and other needed services,

Payment
How to Apply
Referrals from hospitals and police departments are accepted but not required. Legal advocacy services are available 24/7 in conjunction with medical advocacy sevices at Resilience partner hospitals.
