Description
Southwood's residential programming offers group counseling focusing on drug education, relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting skills, health education, and more. In addition, each client works individually with a primary counselor to address specific goals and case management issues in order to prepare him or her for the next level treatment. The program is typically 28-30 days, and other referrals are given upon completion.

-Sobriety is not required for admission.
-The men's and women's programs accept Medicaid and private insurance.
-The coed program accepts CountyCare, as well as uninusured clients. Clients without insurance may be eligible for treatment at no cost to them.
