Description
Renz Center offers outpatient treatment for adults in recovery from substance use disorders. Services include individual, group, and family counseling. Family involvement in treatment is strongly encouraged, and parents and guardians are referred to a Family Program to learn about substance use and its effects on loved ones, setting boundaries, and communicating effectively. The length of treatment depends on the client's involvement in treatment and severity of their substance use.

Eligibility
-Although most clients live in western Cook County and north and central Kane County, services are available to anyone in the Chicagoland metropolitan area, including Cook, Dekalb, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will County.
-Renz Center accepts most insurance plans and is in network with the following: Aetna; Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Blue Cross/Blue Shield Community; CountyCare; Harmony; IlliniCare/Cenpatico; Meridian; Molina; and Next Level.
-Sliding scale fees based on household income are available to uninsured clients.

How to Apply
Call 847-742-3545 and select option 1 to complete a brief eligibility screening by phone. If eligible, you will be asked to come in to fill out intake paperwork and will then be scheduled for a free, comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to determine your treatment needs and preliminary recommendations. Please bring the following documentation:
-Photo ID
-Insurance card
-Proof of income
Additional documentation may be required and will be discussed during the initial phone screening. New clients can generally be seen within a week.
