Support Group • Pregnant Women • Depression • Anxiety
The Prenatal Group is a support group for women experiencing symptoms of prenatal depression, anxiety, or other emotional distress. Participants share their experiences, struggles, and strategies. Dinner is served during group.
-For pregnant women experiencing anxiety, depression,Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), or bipolar disorder.
-Participants must be willing and able to participate fully in the group and allow others to do the same. Women experiencing severe emotional distress may be encouraged to seek mental health treatment prior to joining the group.

How to Apply
Call 847-864-7957 for a phone screening and to schedule an intake appointment. No documentation is required for intake. New groups form when there are a minimum of 4 participants, so there may be a wait of a month or so. For more information, call 847-864-7957 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The group meets from 5:30pm-7:00pm: the day alternates between Monday and Thursday. To facilitate group cohesiveness, you are strongly encouraged to attend each session of your group. You may not join multiple groups or attend multiple sessions.
Staff do not maintain regular office hours, but calls and emails will be returned as soon as possible Monday through Friday..
