Description
Hamdard's Partner Abuse Intervention Program is a group based intervention for male perpetrators of domestic violence. Weekly sessions address topics including respect, trust, negotiation, fairness, non-threatening behavior, honesty, and accountability. The program also provides assessment, anger management, counseling, and abuse prevention services.

Professionals trained in the area of domestic violence staff the program and are culturally sensitive to the needs of the target community. The program is based on the internationally recognized Duluth Domestic Intervention Project Model and meets Illinois Department of Human Services requirements.

Eligibility
-Clients are usually referred by the court system, but some self-referrals are accepted.
-Fees for the Addison group are $75 for intake and $30 per session (for 26 sessions, plus one week orientation). Fees must be paid in cash, personal check or credit card.

How to Apply
Call 630-835-1430 and press #5 for PAIP at prompt to begin the intake process. Intakes are generally scheduled and completed on Wednesdays. You will need to undergo an initial assessment to determine whether the program is appropriate for your needs. If admitted to the group, you will be required to sign a contract agreeing to attend weekly sessions and abide by the rules and spirit of the program. The group schedule is as follows:
