Medication Assisted Treatment • Buprenorphine
Description
The Adult Inpatient Chemical Dependency Unit Outpatient Detox program provides medication assisted treatment for adults with an opioid use disorder. Buprenorphine is used to maintain therapeutic drug levels, which helps to reduce withdrawal symptoms, block drug cravings, and minimize the chance of a relapse. Services are provided to clients who have undergone inpatient detoxification.

Eligibility
-AMITA accepts most major private insurance plans. Please contact your insurance provider prior to intake to verify your benefits.
-Medicaid and Medicaid managed care plans are not accepted for substance use treatment.
-Financial assistance may be available to those without insurance. Please call to inquire.
-Outpatient detox is not appropriate for those detoxing from methadone, unless on a very low dose (25mg or less).

How to Apply
Walk in any time for an assessment. You will be admitted to the program (if appropriate) or referred to alternate treatment. Please bring the following:
-Photo ID
-Insurance card
There is no wait list for services. You must be medically cleared prior to admission.
