Description

New Vision is an emergency medical stabilization service for adults who are suffering incapacitation from a serious substance use problem. New Vision is a confidential, voluntary service. Patients experience a safe withdrawal from drugs and/or alcohol over a three-day, medically supervised hospital stay in a secure environment. During a short 3 day inpatient stay, patients receive care for:

-Physical addiction to drugs and alcohol
-Acute withdrawal symptoms
-Addiction-related health problems

Medication (e.g., Suboxone, methadone. Ativan) is administered as needed to help reduce withdrawal symptoms.

-You must be insured. Presence Health accepts Medicare, Medicaid managed care, and all private insurance. Accepted insurance plans are subject to change. Please contact your insurance provider prior to intake to verify your benefits.

How to Apply

Call 773-278-5015 to schedule an intake appointment. Intake is available 24/7; Registration is done through the Emergency Department. You will undergo an intake assessment, including a medical history, physical examination and lab workup to screen for any severe medical or mental health issues. Once you are medically cleared, you will be admitted the same day. Please bring the following for intake:

-Photo ID
-Insurance card, if available
