Description
Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide (LOSS) provides supportive services to grieving individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. The program helps individuals find community, direction, and resources that they need to heal.
LOSS provides monthly support group meetings at twelve locations in Cook and Lake counties, weekly support groups for the newly bereaved in eight-week sessions, and individual and family counseling. Youth-specific counseling is available for children and teens. The recently bereaved are able to connect with fellow survivors and gain insight from long-term members.
