Description
HRDI's Harriet Tubman program is a residential substance use treatment facility for women and their young children. Medical professionals are on staff to monitor clients. Group and individual counseling services are available, along with life skills courses, parent education, and domestic violence support services. Stays range from 14 to 90 days.

Eligibility
-For pregnant or non-pregnant women ages 18 and older addicted to alcohol and/or other drugs, with their dependent children ages 0-4.
-Clients must be covered by Medicaid or Medicaid managed care. The following Medicaid plans are accepted: Blue Cross Community, County Care, Harmony, IlliniCare, Meridian, Molina, and Next Level.
-Clients with opiate dependence must undergo detox prior to admission.

How to Apply
Call 773-660-4630 between 9:00am-5:00pm to schedule an intake assessment. Intake is available daily during business hours. Insurance benefits can also be verified during the screening. Additional testing or documentation (e.g., medical records,psychological evaluation) may be required prior to admission. There is not generally a wait list. Please bring the following documentation:
