Description

Holbrook Counseling Center provides counseling for individuals, couples, and families consistent with a faith-based understanding of the person, marriage, and family life. Counselors take a holistic, strengths-based approach to issues like sadness, anxiety, communication or relationship difficulties, life transitions, abuse, and trauma. The center also provides pre-marital compatibility assessment and organizational consultation to other agencies, parishes and businesses. All staff hold advanced degrees in psychology, social work, and counseling and are licensed in Illinois.

Eligibility

-Holbrook Counseling Center is in network with Aetna, BCBS and Cigna PPOs.
-Minors under 18 will be referred to another Catholic Charities program unless part of a family receiving counseling, in which the parent is the primary client.
-Fees are sliding scale based on family size, household income, and ability to pay and range from $0-$150 per session.
-Counselors provide both secular and faith-based services to clients and do not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, or religion.

How to Apply

Cook County residents, call 312-655-7725 to schedule an intake assessment at the location most convenient to you. Lake County residents should also call this same number. At intake specific needs such as language will be discussed. Counselors travel, so Spanish-speakers can be accommodated throughout the service area.

Evening appointments are available.

At the initial appointment, the counselor will get to know you, and together you will determine a service plan.

You will need to fill out the Client Intake Form and the Consent to Services Form before receiving counseling.
