Description

Insight offers an intensive program for adolescents and adults with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other eating disorders. The Eating Disorder Program team is comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, Master’s-level counselors, Registered Yoga Therapists, Registered Dietitians, art and expressive therapists, and marriage and family therapists. The program helps patients and families achieve enhanced awareness of the underlying emotional issues that drive disordered eating and emphasizes self-acceptance, overcoming perfectionism, and healthy integration of mind and body. Treatment includes individual, group, family, and experiential therapies; dietary counseling; and medical and psychiatric management. Intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and residential programs are available.

-Inpatient unit for adults only
-Insight is an "in network" provider with most major insurance provider, including: Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Cigna, ComPsych, Humana, Kaiser, Magellan, MultiPlan,United Behavioral Health, and Value Options.
-Accepted insurance plans are subject to change. Please call to confirm.
-Medicaid is accepted is on a case-by-case basis. Please have the case manager at your insurance company call 877-711-1690.
-Financing is available through American HealthCare Lending.

How to Apply

Call 877-711-1878 for a confidential consultation. The Clinical Assessment Team is available from 9:00am-8:00pm Monday through Friday and limited Saturday hours. They will conduct an initial assessment and then recommend a program and level of care. Please allow one to one and a half hours for the assessment.
