Family Intervention • Crisis Intervention
Description
Crisis team members respond immediately to handle the most pressing issues of health and safety, shelter and care. In the days following intervention, therapists continue to work intensively with the youth and family members to address the complex issues that have placed the youth at risk for harm and which instigated the crisis situation. Family Intervention staff also provide broad and extensive counseling and case management services, transportation, and temporary housing.

-For residents of Armour Square, Avalon Park, Burnside, Chatham, Douglas, Edgewater, Fuller Park, Grand Boulevard, Greater Grand Crossing, Hyde Park, Kenwood, Lake View, Lincoln Square, Loop, Near South Side, North Center, Oakland, Uptown, Rogers Park, South Shore, Washington Park, West Ridge and Woodlawn.
