Description

The Community Casework and Counseling program provides professional services to families and individuals who are experiencing a wide range of social and personal problems. These problems may include: homelessness, family violence, substance abuse and addiction, sexual abuse, a trauma such as suicide, family issues related to aging parents, homicide, disability, illness such as HIV/AIDS, incest, parent-child issues, and other problems that affect the family’s or individual’s ability to cope.

Services may be one or a combination of the following: responding to a crisis, referral to a needed service, help accessing services and benefits, advocacy, help developing an action plan, money management, professional counseling and family therapy.

How to Apply

Call the intake line at 312-655-7725 to begin enrollment. Someone will contact you when they have processed your request for services. Most clients in need of counseling services will be assigned to a therapist within a week. Clients not requiring counseling services will be enrolled in case management.
