Description
The Child/Adolescent Inpatient Unit provides exceptional diagnostic, therapeutic and educational services to children and adolescents exhibiting severe emotional disturbances. The unit can accommodate up to 16 children and serves both males and females, ages 3 to 17 years old.
The Outpatient unit offers a variety of programs that address a range of emotional and behavioral issues. Individual and group therapy services are available. Autism testing and treatment are also available.
The inpatient and outpatient unit offers treatment in the following areas:
- Anxiety
- Bipolar disorder
- Depression
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Eligibility
- Inpatient and outpatient psychiatry services for children and adolescents 18 months or older.
- Accepts most insurance plans. Patients must be existing patients (have a Rush medical provider) to schedule. Wait list for services is generally 3 to 4 months.
