The Adult Partial Hospital Program and Intensive Outpatient Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital provides a therapeutic environment to practice daily living skills, participate in groups and activities designed to promote healthy choices, and learn relapse prevention techniques. It is intended for individuals recovering from emotional illness or facing challenging life situations. This program offers counseling, education and medication information to help you make successful choices and improve your emotional and functional health.

The Partial Hospitalization program runs Monday through Friday for approximately six-and-a-half hours each day, M-F 9:00am-3:00pm. The Intensive Outpatient Program runs four days a week for four hours each day,M-F 9:00am-1:00pm. Click here to view the program brochure.

-Alexian Brothers accepts most private insurance plans. Please call your insurance provider prior to intake to verify your benefits.
-Medicaid is accepted for adults ages 18-20 and 65 or older for the partial hospitalization program.
-Sliding scale fees are not available for clients paying out of pocket.

How to Apply

Please call 855-383-2224 M-F 8:00am-8:00pm to begin the intake process. A Clinical Intake Advisor is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for free confidential assessments and referrals at the Hoffman Estates location. An appointment can be made for a personal consultation for patients with insurance, which will take 45 minutes to an hour, to determine the level of care at the Lake Zurich offices, 235 S. Rand Rd in Lake Zurich (no treatment, only assessment at this location).
