Description
Lake Behavioral Hospital's Inpatient Program provides mental health stabilization and treatment for adults.The program offers a safe, supportive environment for those with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), severe anxiety or depression, thoughts of suicide or homicide, and other significant mental health concerns. Services include:
-Psychiatric assessment
-Medication prescription and stabilization
-Group therapy
-Art therapy
-Music therapy
-Symptom management education
-Yoga
-Tai chi
-Recreation therapy
-Family education groups
-Safety planning
-Discharge planning

Eligibility
-Lake Behavioral Hospital accepts the following insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, Molina, and United Healthcare.
-Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
-Spanish speaking patients may be accommodated by prior arrangement. Please call to inquire.

How to Apply
Referrals are accepted but not required.Call 855-990-1900 any time to verify your insurance benefits and schedule a free assessment. Please bring the following documentation to your appointment:
-Photo ID
-Insurance card
After the assessment, a level of care recommendation will be made. You will then be admitted to either the inpatient or intensive outpatient program (as appropriate) or referred to alternate mental health services.There is not generally a wait list for services.
